Directions by car

 

If you drive from Interlaken towards Grindelwald, you will come across a roundabout in Grindelwald. Take the second exit of the roundabout towards Grindelwald village (Dorfstrasse). Now drive along the Dorfstrasse for 2.2 kilometres, so drive through the centre of Grindelwald until you encounter the white church of Grindelwald on your right. There is a fork at the church. Keep left and follow Obere Gletscherstrasse. After 1.1 kilometres, turn left and drive onto Terrassenweg. After 400 metres you will see Boutique Hotel Panorama Grindelwald. There is another, alternative route to our hotel that some navigation systems suggest, but we do not recommend this one as it is very steep and narrow!

 

Please note in winter that snow chains are sometimes required on the route to our hotel, even if you have good winter tyres.

 

 

Directions by train

A train runs every half hour from Interlaken Ost to Grindelwald (except at night). You will then board the rear section of the train at Interlaken Ost station, as the front section of this train has a different destination. The rear section of the train has as its final destination Grindelwald Bahnhof, which is also your final destination (so don't get off too early at Grindelwald Terminal station!). At Grindelwald Bahnhof, there are several ways to get to our hotel:

 

• Bus: Bus station is located next to the railway station. There is a direct connection to our hotel. Depending on the season, this is bus line 122 or 124 from the station. The bus stop where you should get off is called 'Panorama', which is located in front of our hotel. https://www.grindelwaldbus.ch/en
• Taxi: The taxi rank is located right at the station. 24-hour service, Frutt taxi (+41 (0)78 873 54 54).
