Skiing and Snowboarding: Grindelwald, located in the Jungfrauregion, is known for its ski areas and pristine slopes with more than 200 kilometres of pistes. From beginners to experts, there are options for all levels. Winter sports more or less originated in the Jungfrauregion. The oldest ski race in the world, the Inferno, still takes place here every year. But the toughest ski race in the world also takes place in this ski area, the famous Lauberhornrennen.
